A new 3.0 liter EcoBoost leads a meaningful update that also lowers the price of entry for the Tremor and Raptor.
THE 3.0 LITER ECOBOOST BECOMES THE NEW STARTING POINT.
Ford is replacing the familiar 2.7 liter EcoBoost with a new 3.0 liter EcoBoost as the standard engine across much of the 2027 F-150 lineup. Ford says the two engines share the same peak capability, but the 3.0 reaches its pulling power sooner and provides roughly 10 to 11 percent more torque in the range used during everyday driving. Maximum towing is 8,400 pounds and maximum payload is 1,755 pounds when properly configured.

THE REST OF THE ENGINE LINEUP STAYS FAMILIAR.
The 5.0 liter V8 continues with 400 horsepower and 410 pound feet of torque. The 3.5 liter EcoBoost offers 500 pound feet and supports a maximum tow rating of 13,500 pounds when properly equipped. The 3.5 liter PowerBoost hybrid remains the torque leader at 570 pound feet, with available 2.4 and 7.2 kilowatt Pro Power Onboard systems. Tremor continues with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost as standard, while Raptor keeps its high output version.

TREMOR KEEPS THE TRAIL HARDWARE AND CUTS COMFORT FEATURES.
The new entry Tremor uses the 400A equipment group and starts at a reported $65,195 including destination, a reduction of $5,300. It retains the hardware that defines the truck, including 33 inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, an electronic locking rear axle, extra ride height, Rock Crawl mode, Trail Control and specialized suspension components. The savings come from simpler cloth seats, a column shifter and the removal of features such as heated power seats, automatic climate control, the power sliding rear window and premium audio.

RAPTOR ALSO GETS A LESS EXPENSIVE WAY IN.
The new Raptor 800A starts at a reported $80,595 including destination, which is $4,000 less than the previous entry point. It keeps the high output 3.5 liter EcoBoost, FOX Live Valve suspension, 35 inch tires and the wide Raptor body. Buyers give up several luxury and technology features, including the head-up display, heated rear seats, 14 speaker audio and the 2 kilowatt Pro Power Onboard system. For drivers who care more about the chassis than the options list, that trade could make sense.

BLUECRUISE CAN NOW HELP WHILE TOWING.
The 2027 F-150 introduces BlueCruise with Towing on equipped trucks. Ford says the system can provide hands-free, eyes-on assistance on compatible divided highways while pulling an approved trailer. It will be available from XLT and Tremor through Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. The truck also receives refreshed grilles and wheel designs on several trims, plus the first F-150 Carhartt package for buyers who want a more distinctive XLT.
